funding for the future; investing in the next generation...
The Wester Ross Salmon Education Fund was established to provide financial assistance to those who have attended Ullapool High School and wish to pursue a career or further their education in aquaculture; sustainable lifestyle; environmental studies; or STEM subjects.
This community initiative was originally created by former Directors Gilpin Bradley and David Robinson. Wester Ross Fisheries Ltd. is a sustainable aquaculture business, farming Atlantic salmon and based in Ullapool. The fund is a demonstration of the Company's commitment to, and investment in, the next generation of local young people seeking to work within industries that are committed to sustainable lifestyle choices and solutions. Applications are welcomed from pupils who wish to pursue educational or vocational studies and financial assistance covers a range of purposes, both directly and indirectly related to those studies. The fund is capped annually and applications can be submitted up to twelve months before the intended studies are due to commence.
